The Pirelli tests in Suzuka began under the rain.

      In Suzuka, two-day testing of the Pirelli 2027 tire prototypes has begun. The company hoped to work with slicks, but the weather had other plans – the morning session turned out to be rainy. This week, the car, driver, and engineers are provided by Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls. In the morning, Isaac Hajar and Liam Lawson took the wheel – they completed about 50 laps on wet and intermediate tires. It is expected that by the end of the day, the asphalt will dry, and they will be able to switch to slicks.
