Haas F1 will conduct tests in Japan at the end of July
The Haas F1 team announced that on July 28 and 29, during the early summer break of the championship, they will conduct tests at the Fuji International Speedway in Japan.
These are private tests as part of the TCP program, i.e., Testing of a Previous Car, where teams work with cars from previous years.
Details about which specific car will be used have not yet been provided, nor have the participants of the tests been named, but it is likely that among them will be 32-year-old Japanese driver Ryo Hirakawa, who serves as Haas's reserve driver and also competes for the Toyota factory team in endurance racing.
"Japan, we are coming back! We will head to Fuji Speedway, where we will be working on July 28 and 29," the team announced on their social media pages.
In August of last year, Haas F1 already conducted similar tests, specifically at this racetrack, and at that time Ryo Hirakawa and Sho Tsuboi, a three-time champion in the Japanese Super GT series and the reigning Super Formula champion at that time, participated in them.
