Mika Hakkinen's daughter makes her debut in Formula 4.
Ella Hakkinen, the 15-year-old daughter of Mika Hakkinen, has signed a contract with the Swiss team Jenzer Motorsport and will make her debut in the Central European Formula 4 this month.
The announcement appeared on the social media pages of the youth series Formula 4 CEZ Championship: "Ella Hakkinen will compete in our series in 2026! A familiar name, and we are very happy to welcome the daughter of the two-time Formula 1 champion."
Last autumn, Ella was accepted into the McLaren youth program, and the renowned British team was the first to congratulate her on the start of a new stage in her career. The young racer is already preparing for her debut at the Austrian racetrack Red Bull Ring in Spielberg – the first stage of F4 CEZ will take place from April 10 to 12. There are a total of six stages in this series, with three races held at each stage.
While karting, Ella Hakkinen has already achieved her first successes at the international level and competes under a Czech license.
