Theo Pourchaire hopes to find a place in Formula E.

      The 2023 Formula 2 champion Theo Pourchaire has said that he hopes to secure a place in Formula E. Currently, the French driver is racing for the factory team Peugeot in the FIA WEC, but his priority is to move to the electric racing series.

      Theo Pourchaire: “Moving to Formula E is my main priority, but I am quite happy in WEC. We have an amazing racing program, and being a French driver representing Peugeot is just fantastic. But driving 'formulas' is what I really know how to do.

      I have raced in Formula 3 and Formula 2, where I achieved great results. I was a reserve driver in Formula 1, raced a bit in IndyCar and Super Formula. I know that Formula E is special and different from other series, but I am quite confident. If I get the chance to race in Formula E, I will certainly take it.

      I would also like to race in Formula E because this series has the status of a world championship. The last time I drove a 'formula', which was in IndyCar, I really enjoyed it. And the fourth-generation Formula E cars are just amazing.

      I am sure that the popularity and level of Formula E are very high. In terms of speeds, this championship is already close to Formula 1. So I hope that I will have the opportunity to compete.”
