Is Charles Leclerc looking at a new yacht?
A video has appeared on Charles Leclerc's social media pages, filmed by the press service of the Italian company Ferretti Group, which builds luxury yachts. Charles, along with his wife Alexandra and their pet, a miniature dachshund named Leo, visited the Riva shipyard (one of the company's brands) in the Italian port city of La Spezia on the Ligurian Sea coast, where they were shown both the entire yacht construction process and nearly finished products. Leclerc already owns two yachts built at this shipyard. The 20-meter Riva 66 Ribelle is named Sedici, which means "sixteen" in Italian – this is the number under which Charles competes in Formula 1. The name of the second boat is Monza, in honor of his victory at the 2019 Italian Grand Prix. It is smaller in size but faster and belongs to the Sportscruisers category. The company briefly and formally commented on this video, merely stating that they were very pleased to invite the Ferrari driver for a tour of the shipyard, but it can be reasonably assumed that Charles and Alexandra are looking for a new boat. There is no official information on this matter, but one fan left a comment: "This is a wedding gift idea for Formula 1 drivers."
A Riva 66 Ribelle boat in the same configuration as Leclerc's costs no less than 6 million euros, but for the company, this is a mid-range model. For example, their production program includes the 34-meter flagship Riva 112 Dolcevita Super, and its price is more than twice as high, so there is always something to strive for.
