      Pierre Gasly: “We know which direction we need to work in, and that’s the main thing. We know we don’t need to worry about the power unit – it’s the same as the leaders. We just need to make the most of what we have, focus on the chassis and our work. We have laid a good foundation, now we need to move forward.

      I am pleased that our car works effectively on all types of tracks. This really adds to our confidence. In Suzuka, I was losing to Hamilton by about three to four tenths per lap, Ferrari is the next target, we need to do everything to catch up with them.

      At the moment, the gap is still too large for us to seriously compete for the podium, but after the summer break, I would like to see us in the same group as McLaren and Ferrari.”
