Pierre Gasly may leave Red Bull.

There are persistent rumors that Red Bull Racing's technical director Pierre Waché may leave the team due to a loss of trust from management. According to calculations, the RB22 was supposed to outperform the Racing Bulls VCARB03 by about a second per lap, but it turned out to be even slightly slower. Independent assessments suggest that the RB22 lags behind Mercedes by about eight-tenths due to the chassis and only two-tenths due to the engine. However, significant modifications are needed to improve the chassis efficiency, including changing the wheelbase, which would be too costly for the team. Internal disagreements within Red Bull have further complicated Waché's position. Employee dissatisfaction and the departure of chief designer Craig Skinner indicate that they were not confident in Waché's chosen approach, which may force Red Bull to make a difficult decision.
