Lance Stroll consulted with Verstappen.
We wrote that Lance Stroll will compete in the first round of the GT World Challenge Europe, which will take place at the French track Paul Ricard on April 11-12, alongside former Formula 1 driver Roberto Merhi and Formula 2 racer Marie Boy.
Lance shared that the idea came about during dinner in Suzuka, and he consulted with Max Verstappen about it.
Lance Stroll: "During the weekend in Japan, in Suzuka, we had dinner with Roberto and decided to race together in the GT race. I consulted with Max, he told me who to contact, and since he participates in GT racing, we talked a bit about it.
