Oscar Piastri: Lewis's example inspires me a lot.

      Oscar Piastri answered several questions from the McLaren press service, sharing his preferences in various areas of life…

      Question: Who are the people that inspire you the most? Oscar Piastri: Among the people whose example inspires me, there are mostly basketball players: Michael Jordan and, perhaps, Kobe Bryant. Who else? I would mention Lewis Hamilton – both for his sporting achievements and for his attitude towards everything; for what he has been able to achieve outside of the racetracks. All of this inspires many people, including me.

      Question: Four favorite tracks? Oscar Piastri: They are Spa, Silverstone, Suzuka, and probably Qatar. I really like all of them because they mostly have fast corners. Spa is distinguished by a wonderful combination of fast corners and elevation changes; there are fast corners in Silverstone and Suzuka as well, and in Qatar, they are very fast.

      Question: Who are your favorite Formula 1 drivers? Oscar Piastri: First of all, Ayrton Senna, and that speaks for itself. I also really enjoyed watching Daniel Ricciardo's performances – that was even before I debuted in Formula 1. Watching Fernando Alonso's races was also very interesting. I would add Kimi Räikkönen to this list.

      Question: How do you prefer to relax? Oscar Piastri: I watch TV, sleep, and sunbathe on the beach.

      Question: Name four favorite dishes... Oscar Piastri: Pasta, burgers, sushi, and chocolate.

      Question: Name four favorite sports… Oscar Piastri: Cricket – I don’t even know why I like it, as it can sometimes be really frustrating. But that happens with any sport. Cricket is a decent pastime, it’s fun to play, especially in the summer when everyone is in a good mood. Basketball – watching matches is incredibly interesting, but playing it myself is also fun – if you know how to do it well. However, I can't say that about myself. Tennis – a very interesting game that requires both refined technique and excellent physical condition. What else? Let’s say extreme sports, for example, its winter types, where people perform some incredible tricks that involve high risks. But it all looks cool!
