      The FIA confirmed the death of a spectator as a result of a tragic incident at the Sudamericano Mina Clavero rally in Argentina after a car went off the track. Two other fans were injured. The drivers – Didier Arias and Hector Nunez – were not harmed.

      “The FIA is deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred during the second stage of the FIA CODASUR rally championship at the Rally Sudamericano Mina Clavero, resulting in the death of one spectator and injuries to two others.

      We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, and we sympathize with all those affected by this tragedy. We thank the emergency services and medical teams for their prompt response.

      The FIA will provide full support to the rally organizers, the Automobile Club of Argentina, and local authorities in investigating this incident,” the FIA statement said.
