America's Fisker Service Expert Is Prepared to Transition. Who Will Take Over?
The biggest car news and reviews, no nonsense

You may not be familiar with EVolution Autosports. Located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, this modest establishment features three service bays, a 30-car lot, and a small brick office. However, you might not realize that it is the largest dedicated Fisker dealer and service center in the United States—and the only one not situated under Pacific coast palm trees.
The operation is led by Joe Ferrante, who launched Fisker of Cherry Hill across the Delaware in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, in 2014. At that time, Fisker was working to become another Tesla. Things were going well until they weren't, as the saying goes, but in the meantime, Fisker successfully delivered thousands of cars. Without the company to offer support and service, car owners turned to the aftermarket for solutions, and Ferrante stepped in.
If you had asked Ferrante in 2014 where he envisioned himself a decade later, becoming the hub of a much-needed Fisker aftermarket service network likely wouldn’t have been his response, but that’s exactly where he finds himself now.
Currently, Ferrante possesses all of Fisker’s remaining factory parts, which he stores in a separate 4,000-square-foot warehouse. EVolution Autosports also holds the patent for its “bulletproofing” process, which modifies factory-spec Fiskers to enhance their reliability.
Remember when Rich Rebuilds purchased a non-functional Fisker Ocean and fixed it for $100? EVolution Autosports actively supports that initiative.

“These are rare, unique vehicles,” Ferrante stated in his Facebook post announcing the offering. “Many dealers might scoff at this ‘small niche’ low-volume business. But I’ve transformed it into something by persevering and outlasting the competition.”
This isn’t an overstatement. Search for “Fisker service center near me.” It’s pretty dismal, isn’t it? This scarcity is part of the reason Ferrante was initially reluctant to inform the community that he was considering a transition.
“I’d rather not cause alarm within the Fisker community to avoid unnecessary worry,” Ferrante told me when I first reached out via Facebook.
He even contemplated making the announcement anonymously, but being the only prominent name in town made that challenging. “It would be fairly easy to identify me,” he noted.
Ferrante emphasized the business's small physical footprint as an advantage.
“It doesn’t need to stay at this location and could integrate smoothly with another existing operation,” he said. “Ideally somewhere on the East Coast.”

However, the primary message Ferrante wishes to convey to the Fisker ownership community is one of reassurance. There’s no reason to panic: he’s not leaving. He will remain in charge until he identifies a buyer he trusts.
“My reason for selling is long-term, not urgent,” he responded to a Facebook comment. “If it takes me 5-10 years to find the right fit, then so be it. I care about these owners; they feel like family, and my reputation demands that this is entrusted to the right person.”
This concern ultimately motivated him to go public with the announcement.
“I would love to elevate it to the next level,” Ferrante added, “but for personal reasons, I need to pass it on to ensure its continuity for the 1,000-plus loyal customers and many more followers worldwide.”
Together with its community of innovative and hardworking owners, businesses like EVolution Autosports are what will prevent Fisker from becoming merely an obscure footnote in the industry's shift towards electrification. Are you the right person to take charge and guide the company?
