Vaulz: The most important thing is to achieve a weight reduction of FW48.

James Vowles, head of the Williams F1 Team, shared on his LinkedIn page about the team's work during the April break in the championship, expressing hope that signs of progress should be visible by the time of the Miami race.

James Vowles: "The start of the season hasn't been what we would have liked. The way the team responds to such challenges showcases its qualities more vividly than in days of victories and podiums when it reaches the pinnacle of success.

At Williams, we talk daily about the responsibility and perseverance required from everyone, and now, during the championship break, the team is demonstrating this in practice.

In the past few weeks, we have analyzed all the collected information, conducted research at an accelerated pace, solved tasks in the simulator, and worked to improve the quality of our approaches with an eye on the remainder of the season.

Our drivers are back at the team's base working on the simulator, and the racing crew is training for pit stops. When it comes to chassis upgrades, we are putting in maximum effort in all areas, but the most important thing is to achieve a reduction in the car's weight.

Literally every hour during the April break was dedicated to focused work, and the Miami race is an opportunity to demonstrate that we have taken another step forward. We understand that the job is not yet complete, but we hope that when we return to the track, we will be able to achieve progress."
