      Analysts from SponsorUnited calculated the revenue of Formula 1 teams from sponsorship support. According to the report, the total revenue of teams from sponsorship increased by 22.1% and amounted to $2.54 billion in 2025, which helped reduce the gap from the leader – the professional league of American football, the NFL. According to SponsorUnited, Formula 1 is the second most profitable sports league, trailing the NFL ($2.66 billion) but ahead of the English Premier League ($2.02 billion). According to SponsorUnited, 382 deals involving 358 unique brands were concluded in 2025. The leader in sponsorship revenue is Mercedes with an estimated amount of $558 million. Smaller, but comparable revenues are reported for Ferrari, Red Bull, and McLaren. The main source of sponsorship income is the technology sector – $769 million, which is 40.8% more than the previous year. In second place is the financial sector ($456 million) and the clothing and accessories sector ($219 million).
