Lindblad: We understood that the race would be challenging.
The Racing Bulls drivers did not earn any points in Miami – neither in the Saturday sprint nor in the Sunday race…
Arvid Lindblad (14th): “We knew the race would be challenging. There were issues in the first stint, the Medium tires lacked speed and grip on the track, but switching to Hard made the car more comfortable to drive and increased the speed.
We will analyze everything that happened this weekend, I will continue to work on myself and learn. The team did an excellent job, making the most of some difficult situations. Overall, I really enjoy driving the car so far, and I look forward to getting to know the next new track for me.”
Liam Lawson (retirement): “The weekend in Miami was tough. We had issues with the gearbox that we hadn’t encountered before, I lost control of the car and collided with Pierre. After that incident, he retired from the race. We also had to pull the car from the race, which is very disappointing.
Right after the race, I went to Pierre to apologize, I’m glad he is okay. That’s the most important thing. I had a good start, gaining a few positions, it’s a shame the race ended that way. The next couple of weeks we will spend recovering, so we can return to the fight in Canada with renewed strength.”
