The new city circuit in Madrid – MadriRing – is set to host the Spanish Grand Prix in mid-September. The track is being built in a vibrant city under the watchful eye of local residents, who are very curious to see if the organizers will complete everything on time. However, they are providing detailed coverage of all stages in the local press and assure that the track will be ready on schedule. Tickets for the Grand Prix are already on sale.

This week, another phase began, which is unpleasant for residents due to extensive traffic closures, but important for the racetrack – the laying of the top layer of asphalt. The planned completion date for this work is May 24.

Asphalt has already been laid on the main 523-meter straight, where drivers will be able to compete for position, with a 252-meter section from pole to the first corner.
