Negotiations continue regarding the holding of the race in Jeddah.

We have already reported on the existence of plans by the Formula 1 management to hold the canceled Bahrain Grand Prix and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on different dates. The organizers of the event in Jeddah are negotiating to move the canceled race from April to December 6, and the event in Abu Dhabi to December 13.

As Planet F1 has learned, negotiations among all interested parties are still ongoing, and a final decision will be made "in two to three weeks."

At the same time, Liberty Media does not rule out the possibility that the situation in the Middle East this fall may prevent not only the April races but also the originally scheduled Qatar Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from taking place. In such a case, holding a second race in Las Vegas is being considered as an alternative.

The promoter of the night race on the city circuit is Formula 1, which gives full control over the process, provided that all local requirements from the city are met, taking into account the potential inconveniences that another race weekend may cause.

However, a second race in Vegas raises a number of financial questions, particularly who will cover the additional costs, and whether FOM will take them on in hopes of compensating for potential advertising losses due to the canceled Grands Prix.
