      ⏱️ A new record has been set for production EVs at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Porsche holds it, having clocked a 6:55.553 lap with a Taycan Turbo GT featuring the Weissach Pack and Manthey Kit. This is nearly four seconds quicker than the 3,000-horsepower Yangwang U9 Xtreme. Porsche development driver Lars Kern was behind the wheel during this achievement. [Porsche]

      🚙 Lexus has introduced a new three-row electric SUV, built on the same platform as the all-electric Toyota Highlander. Named the TZ, it boasts a range of 300 miles and comes with standard dual-motor all-wheel drive. In the case of the Highlander, this means 338 horsepower.       🆙 Speaking of Volkswagen, they have just outspent Amazon to become Rivian’s largest investor, with their stake in the electric truck and SUV manufacturer now at 15.9% after a recent increase. [TechCrunch]
