Gucci may become the title sponsor of Alpine.
Rumors are circulating that the Italian fashion house Gucci may become the title sponsor of the Alpine team in 2027, replacing BWT in this role. Gucci is part of the Kering group, which is led by former Renault CEO Luca de Meo, so this whole scheme has real roots. De Meo has a good relationship with Alpine's executive advisor Flavio Briatore, whom he brought back to the team in the summer of 2024. Alpine did not confirm anything – the contract with BWT continues, only noting that "the Alpine team is constantly looking for new partnership opportunities and is in contact with a wide range of brands and companies as potential partners."
