Alpine hopes to earn points in Montreal.

In Miami, Franco Colapinto achieved the best result of his career, finishing seventh in the race. Alpine is counting on the same confident performance from the Argentine in the Canadian Grand Prix and assures that the problems that hindered Pierre Gasly in the fourth round of the season are in the past.

Pierre Gasly: "I feel ready to return to the track and participate in the race this weekend. The Miami round was disappointing – no one wants to end a Grand Prix like that, but fortunately, I'm fine thanks to the safety of modern Formula 1 cars.

The last few weeks have been eventful, including driving a car on tracks that previously hosted the French Grand Prix. I drove the 1979 Renault RS10 at the Paul Ricard circuit as part of a historic Grand Prix – a fantastic and emotional experience. Behind the wheel of this car, Jean-Pierre Jabouille won the 1979 French Grand Prix, and it was great that his son Victor was present and saw my demonstration laps.

Then I went to Magny-Cours for a two-day test of Pirelli rain tires. Two amazing tracks and two completely different cars. It was great to race in France again, which is rare these days.

Now we are heading to French-speaking Montreal for another sprint weekend. I wasn't entirely comfortable in the car in Miami, so we spent some time figuring out what that was about. I think we have answers and an understanding of which direction to go in Canada to earn as many points as possible in the sprint and the main race. I'm ready and looking forward to getting back on track."

Franco Colapinto: "I'm excited to be back on the grid in Canada, especially since we have another sprint weekend ahead. After a great round in Miami, where we both made it to the final qualifying, and I achieved my best result in Formula 1 in the race, I want to build on that success.

It's been a year since my first race with the team, and the Miami round confirmed that we are moving in the right direction, confidently starting the season. Over the past two weeks, I've had the chance to work at the base in Enstone. We thoroughly analyzed the last round and began preparations for the weekend in Montreal, including important simulator sessions.

The Montreal track is one of those where you really enjoy driving. Moreover, it's the first track in a long time where I've raced before. There are long fast straights and slow chicanes where you have to drive literally inches from the walls. On such tracks, you feel the adrenaline rush.

This will be the third sprint round of the season, and as always, every minute behind the wheel is especially important. The whole team is focused on maintaining the positive attitude we've shown in the last races and having another strong weekend."

Steve Nielsen, Managing Director: "We are heading to Montreal fully prepared for another sprint weekend, the third of the current season. The team left Miami with a positive mindset – Franco finished seventh in the Sunday race, achieving his best result in Formula 1, while Pierre earned one point in the sprint.

In Miami, we confirmed once again that the current version of the car allows us to compete for good results on a variety of tracks. We brought small updates for the last round, and the same approach will be taken in Montreal. It's nice to see that we are managing to maximize the car's potential. At the same time, the team continues to work on further updates that should appear at the upcoming European rounds.

It was great to see how confidently Franco felt behind the wheel in Miami, and now it's important for him to demonstrate that level of performance consistently at every round.

As for Pierre, after Miami, we thoroughly analyzed the situation to understand why he didn't feel as comfortable in the car during the weekend as he did in previous rounds of the season.

We already have some conclusions and an understanding of the reasons for what happened, and we hope that in Canada both cars will be able to fight for points again. A very intense part of the season is starting now, and it's important for the team to maintain the momentum we've built."
