Lawson: In Monaco, any mistake can be very costly.

      Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson shared insights about the city circuit and the team's goals for the upcoming weekend in a traditional preview before the Monaco Grand Prix.

      Liam Lawson: "Monaco is always one of the most anticipated races, partly because it marks the beginning of the European part of the season. It’s a legendary track, and racing through the streets of the principality is unlike any other event on the calendar.

      Monaco has a unique track configuration; any mistake can be costly, and the numerous slow corners present a real challenge for both the car and the driver. The atmosphere throughout the weekend is also special, as the city is literally charged with the energy of the race. This race now means even more to me since I live in Monaco.

      We head to Monaco after a mixed weekend in Canada. There were positive moments and areas where we need to improve.

      In Monaco, the team faces a completely different challenge, so it’s important to make the most of every practice session and gain confidence behind the wheel as quickly as possible.
