      The French press has managed to learn the terms of Charles Leclerc's new contract with Ferrari and the driver's salary. The publication Sportune reports that Charles Leclerc's agreement is set for 2027 and 2028, with the possibility of extending it for another two seasons. Moreover, this extension will not be automatic – the driver will be able to decide whether to stay with Ferrari in 2029 or not, and the team will have to accept his choice. Interestingly, the extension for 2030 will depend on the team's decision. Equally interesting is the size of the Monegasque's salary. In 2027, Charles's salary will be 40 million euros, and in 2028, it will be 44 million euros. If Leclerc spends 2029 and 2030 with Ferrari, his bank account will increase by another 100 million euros. Thus, under the new contract with Ferrari, Charles Leclerc will earn 184 million euros over four years. By this measure, he will become the third highest-paid driver in Formula 1 after Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
