Less than two months after facing backlash for sharing some AI-generated content on its official social media platforms, Dodge (Ram) is at it again. This time, it's not merely a trivial image of a distorted “Ram” and “Neon,” but actual merchandise, indicating that the automaker is attempting to sell this.

Update: The t-shirt was removed shortly after this article was posted (the product link now returns a 404 error). However, screenshots are permanent.

Discovered by Motor1 on social media, Ram’s online store featured a “2026 Ram Patriotic Unisex T-Shirt” priced at $29.95, which is relatively inexpensive for branded merchandise these days. On the other hand, keeping prices low is easier when there are no artists, creators, or branding costs to consider.

The “Ram” depicted on the t-shirt is clearly just a Toyota Tacoma with RAM branding on the grille. It seems like either AI was used, or someone simply didn’t care (or possibly both), as a generic truck illustration was taken and the Ram logo was added to the grille. There were no other attempts to make this vehicle resemble a genuine Ram. How did this even pass whatever final review every product should undergo before being made available to the public? Perhaps Ram employs the same company that approved IndyCar’s “One Nation One Race” t-shirt.

The truck in question isn’t the sole example of AI oversight. Take a look at the flag in the background. It's supposed to resemble an American flag, but it doesn’t, as it has odd proportions and—believe it or not—38 stars!
