Less than two months after facing backlash for sharing AI-generated content on its official social media, Dodge (Ram) is back at it. This time, it's more than just an amusing but flawed image of a "Ram" and "Neon"; it's merchandise—specifically, items that the automaker is actually selling.
Update: The t-shirt was removed shortly after this article was published (the product listing now leads to a 404 error). However, screenshots are forever.
Discovered by Motor1 on social media, Ram's online store had a "2026 Ram Patriotic Unisex T-Shirt" priced at $29.95, which I suppose is reasonably cheap for branded items these days. Then again, keeping costs down might be possible when there are no artists, creators, or branding expenses to pay.

The "Ram" depicted on the t-shirt is obviously a Toyota Tacoma featuring RAM lettering on the grille. It appears that either AI was used, or the designer didn’t care at all (or perhaps both), taking a generic truck illustration and adding the Ram logo to the grille. That’s all; no further attempts were made to make this pickup resemble a real Ram. One has to wonder how this product passed whatever final checks are supposed to occur before being made available to the public. Maybe Ram hired the same company that approved IndyCar’s “One Nation One Race” t-shirt.
The truck isn’t the only example of AI mistakes. Take a look at the flag in the background. It's supposed to resemble an American flag, but it doesn't due to its odd proportions and—wait for it—38 stars!
