Pierre Gasly: Alpine is a long-term project.

On Thursday in Monaco, Pierre Gasly spoke about his two-year contract with Alpine and his future with the team...

Pierre Gasly: "I remember sitting here in front of you a year ago and answering questions about my future. Back then, many had doubts, but now I see the progress we've made during this time, I see changes in mentality, all the processes we've implemented.

2025 was tough but positive. Right now, there's a great atmosphere in Enstone. People are interested in our prospects, our future. Last week we signed an important contract, we learned what the team will be called next season. This speaks to what's happening around the team, the positivity within Alpine – and I always believed in that.

This is a long-term project, we have a long way to go. We're not at the level I want us to be yet, but I believe that in the coming months we can make significant progress.

Right now, I'm happy. I sleep better at night, I have fewer nightmares. The car is more competitive. Engineers, mechanics, staff in different departments – everyone is doing everything possible, and Flavio Briatore sets the pace. We have the right mindset. Last week we scored points with both cars, but we still need to work on how to achieve even better results."
