      Franco Colapinto performed confidently in the previous two Grands Prix in Miami and Montreal, earning fourteen points. In Monaco, the Alpine driver mentioned that the April break helped him feel much more confident behind the wheel.

      Franco Colapinto: "I am quite satisfied right now. The last few weekends have been successful, and overall, I feel much better after the break before Miami and the trip to Argentina for the show. Everything seems to have become more focused and cohesive, the understanding has improved, and the car behaves consistently.

      Now I feel comfortable behind the wheel, and we have established good interaction with the team. But the most important thing is that we are consistently working and achieving results in every session. It was more challenging before.

      Monaco is a very difficult track, but now I know all the tracks, and that helps a lot. I feel much more confident and calm – both in working with the team and in working with the car. There is also complete understanding with the settings and engineers.

      I am looking forward to the upcoming races and am happy to return to Europe. One of my favorite parts of the season is starting, and when you are closer to home, it is always a bit easier.

      In Monaco, everything can change. It is impossible to predict how events will unfold and how the car will behave. We need to wait for the track session and then draw conclusions, as this is a specific and unique stage compared to the others. I hope we will have a competitive car and a high pace from the very beginning of the weekend."
