Bortoleto: I hope we earn points this weekend.
Having earned points in the first race of the season, Audi drivers did not finish in the top ten in the next five stages. The team hopes to break this trend at the upcoming stage in Barcelona.
Alan McNish, Racing Director: "We showed promising pace in Monaco, which proves our consistent progress, even if the final result was not a reward for the work done over the past weekend.
In Barcelona, we will face completely different challenges, but we know the track well, which serves as a good starting point for assessing our development. We are returning to the place where Audi's story began at the start of the year, aiming to build on the successes of the past weekend, continue learning, and move forward."
Nico Hülkenberg: "The race in Monaco ended with a disappointing result, but that is now in the past, and we are starting a new racing week. However, there were positive moments in the last stage – the car showed promising pace, and we want to maintain that in the future.
In Barcelona, we will face different challenges than in Monaco, and we will be able to test and evaluate the car and power unit. We are moving in the right direction, so I hope we can unlock the car's potential."
Gabriel Bortoleto: "In Monaco, we showed encouraging signs. Every race is an opportunity to learn something more and improve. That is what we will focus on in Barcelona.
I have spent a lot of time on this track over the years I have competed in various series, and teams are not expecting surprises thanks to all the tests they have already conducted here.
We need to have a clean race weekend to maximize the car's potential and, hopefully, earn points."
