Liam Lawson: (13th) "Today there was a small issue that was relatively easy to fix, but unfortunately, because of it, I couldn't work fully. It's a shame, but the main thing is that the problems don't repeat on Saturday.
The positive thing is that our car has been fast from the start, and overall we are in good shape for the rest of the weekend. We will draw conclusions, make the necessary adjustments, and hopefully, we will work more productively on Saturday.
This weekend we tested our Canadian innovations on a fast track for the first time – it's nice to see that they are working well."
Alan Permane, team principal: "We are pleased with how Friday went. In Montreal, the car received a serious upgrade – and here we can fully test it on a fast track for the first time. This will help gather information not only for the upcoming stage but also for the rest of the season.
A small electrical issue with Liam's car caused him to miss part of the session, but there's nothing serious here. He was able to get back out and will continue working tomorrow.
Arvid also did a great job today; we will strive to ensure that both cars make it to the qualifying final on Saturday."
