Berman: It wasn't easy, but we were waiting for this.

      Haas F1 drivers did not score points in Barcelona…

      Oliver Berman (17th): “It was not easy, but we expected it. I don’t think we were more behind the leaders than usual – rather the opposite. The results even exceeded expectations. A few laps before the finish, I was in 13th place, which could have become 11th after two cars ahead retired, but my car had a problem, and I had to retire from the race.

      We have some work to do. It was a challenging weekend; we need to discuss everything, understand the situation, and improve our results for the next race.”

      Esteban Ocon (13th): “A tough race. We couldn’t keep the tires in working condition. We had to make three pit stops – the rear tires wore out faster than we completed the stint.

      The car simply lacked speed. We need to analyze everything, but it seems we made a mistake with the setup choice in the second practice – and since then we haven’t been able to correct that mistake. I hope everything goes better in Austria.”
