Franco Colapinto was penalized and lost two positions.
After the finish of the Barcelona-Catalonia Grand Prix, the stewards reviewed the violations committed during the race and penalized Franco Colapinto, Kimi Antonelli, and the Williams team.
Franco Colapinto was penalized with a 10-second addition to his time after the finish for not slowing down sufficiently in the yellow flag zone. Additionally, Franco received one penalty point, bringing his total to two for a 12-month period. After the penalty was applied, the Alpine driver dropped from eighth to tenth place.
Kimi Antonelli was penalized with a 5-second addition to his time in the final results for four violations of track limits during the race.
Williams received two fines of five thousand euros each. The first fine was issued because a part of the thermal cover for the front right tire was stuck under Alex Albon's car at the start of the formation lap.
The second fine for Williams was issued because Carlos Sainz's mechanics left equipment on the grass next to the starting position after the 15-second signal before the start of the formation lap.
