Pierre Gasly: We have once again become the best among the rest.

      Pierre Gasly earned points in Barcelona with a 7th place finish, having started from 14th position. Franco Colapinto also performed quite well overall, finishing 8th on the track, but was penalized, which placed him 10th in the final standings.

      Pierre Gasly (7th): "If someone had told me on Friday that I would finish 7th in the race, I would have definitely agreed! I am very happy with today's performance, as we did almost everything right and despite the distant starting position, we managed to earn points.

      In the end, we moved forward thanks to switching to hard tires during the period when the virtual safety car (VSC) was announced, and there were several retirements in the closing stages of the race.

      We were once again the best of the rest, and this is a good result for the team, earning valuable points today. Considering the level we were at yesterday, this is a significant achievement, even if we faced some difficulties today, but we have already started to address them.

      The week, which was very uneven for us, is behind us, and I am glad that we finished it well. We understand that the gap to the leaders is still large, and we need to keep pushing to close it. But now we need to rest a bit before starting preparations for the Austrian Grand Prix, which will take place in two weeks."

      Franco Colapinto (10th): "Today our performance was much better, and the team was rewarded – we earned points with both cars, which we probably didn't expect at the beginning of the weekend. But in race conditions, the car felt much better, and the pace allowed us to fight with competitors who started ahead of us.

      We had serious issues with the car, but the team worked hard, and we are going home with a decent result. Due to high tire degradation, the race was tough, but the team made the right decisions, executed pit stops clearly, and that allowed us to end up in good positions."

      Flavio Briatore: "If we recall where we started the day, we can say that the team made an excellent comeback. We were far outside the top ten, and in the end, both drivers earned points.

      It seems that our car performs better on Sundays than on Saturdays, and we need to quickly find a way to improve the overall efficiency of the A526. Pierre and Franco deserve praise for cooperating with each other and interacting with the team, which allowed us to earn quite a few points, and that is always a priority.

      Finally, I want to congratulate Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton on the victory! It is very joyful to see such a great champion like Lewis back on the top step of the podium – overall, they did a great job and had an excellent race!"
