      Lance Stroll (21st): "We continue to have handling issues in Barcelona. The car lacks downforce, which is especially needed on this track, and the power unit lacks power. We'll see what we can do tomorrow."

      Fernando Alonso (22nd): "It's no surprise that we qualified last, as we know the current level of the car. I'm having issues with downshifting, so it was very difficult to drive on every lap in qualifying. I've always enjoyed racing in front of Spanish fans, and I thank them for their amazing support this weekend."

      Mike Krack, Racing Director: "We knew even before the weekend started that this track would reveal our true pace, which was reflected in the qualifying result. Both the drivers and the team gave their all today, but we must accept our current form and do everything possible in tomorrow's race."
