Max Verstappen: We were behind the leaders on all tires.

Max Verstappen finished fourth in Barcelona. Commenting on the race results, the four-time world champion stated that the Red Bull car still lacks speed on energy-intensive tracks.

Isaac Hajar finished sixth. The French Red Bull Racing driver lost eight positions at the start and after the race explained what went wrong in the early meters of the distance.

Max Verstappen (4th): "I was somewhat lucky to finish fourth. I spent most of the race alone, and on all tire compounds, we were a bit behind the cars ahead. So I just tried to run my race and get the job done.

We need to work more together with the team to get more speed out of the car. The track in Barcelona was the first in a long time with high speeds and high energy consumption. It is quite clear that in these areas we can perform a little better."

Isaac Hajar (6th): "I had a good pace this weekend in qualifying and the race, but I had a terrible start due to severe wheel spin. I want to work on this aspect before heading to the next round in Spielberg. If I had started well, I could have fought with Oscar Piastri, so it's a shame that the start turned out like this.

Considering the track configuration and weather conditions, I believe we performed better than expected this weekend. The track in Austria suits our car better, but we need to work on the starts."
