Arthur Leclerc leads on the second day of Pirelli tests.
Pirelli has completed the second day of testing the 2027 tire prototypes, which took place this week in Barcelona. The tire manufacturers worked with slicks with the support of Ferrari and Cadillac, who provided their cars.
On the second day of testing, Arthur Leclerc took over the Ferrari from his brother Charles, while Guanyu Zhou continued the program with Cadillac.
Both drivers tested different compounds of C2 over short and long runs. Arthur completed 141 laps with a best time of 1:17.430. Guanyu completed 130 laps with a best time of 1:19.321.
The next Pirelli tire prototype tests will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday after the Silverstone event, featuring Mercedes and Williams, where they will again work with slicks.
