Verstappen wants to finalize his plans by August.
Max Verstappen's manager Raymond Vermeulen said that the four-time world champion plans to decide on his plans for 2027 before the summer break. Vermeulen reminded that Max's contract includes a clause that allows him to terminate his cooperation with Red Bull Racing early, but expressed hope that they would not have to use it.
Raymond Vermeulen: "We want to make a decision soon so that everyone knows what their situation is. A decision could be made even before the summer break.
We have a contract with Red Bull until 2028. Of course, it includes clauses for early termination. Such clauses have been in all contracts, but we have never used them. We have always been loyal, and we remain so.
We want to continue our journey together with Red Bull and see how Max finishes his career with this team. But, of course, he must have opportunities to win."
