Fernando Alonso (18th): "Another tough weekend, but we didn't expect much more. It was important to finish the race, continue gathering information, and improve our approaches.
In recent weeks, we have made some progress in certain areas and I hope we can continue in the same spirit to prepare for the moment when the team updates the car.
We are looking forward to the home race in Silverstone next week, where we will try to please our fans."
Lance Stroll (retirement): "I felt comfortable behind the wheel today, I enjoyed the second stint, confidently managing the tire condition. We knew in advance that we wouldn't be able to compete with anyone and were running our own race.
Unfortunately, then suspicions arose about issues with the ERS system, so I had to stop.
It's a very tough time for everyone in the team right now, but we are doing everything we can to improve the car. We need to be patient, and I hope that in a few races we will be in better shape."
