Zak Brown: Everything is going well

On the way to the starting grid, Lando Norris complained about the brake pedal travel being too long, after which the mechanics at McLaren, working on both of the team's cars, took a number of urgent measures. It was evident that in the last 20 minutes before the start, the nose cones were removed, and there was intensive work on adjusting the braking systems.

However, Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren, tried to reassure the fans, indicating that nothing unusual was happening.

Zak Brown: "Everyone is working hard because we want Lando to feel comfortable behind the wheel of the car at the start of the race. Everything is going well, and we are preparing a good package of technical updates for the Silverstone event – however, all the other teams are also working on upgrading their cars. For now, we are a bit behind the leaders, but that's Formula 1!"

It should be added that just before the start, everything was done, and the orange cars with the numbers 1 and 81 were fully assembled and ready for the Austrian Grand Prix.
