Elbon: The track in Silverstone has always suited us.

The Williams drivers have repeatedly complained this year that certain tracks do not suit their FW48 car, and this, of course, has reflected in the results. However, such concerns are less applicable to Silverstone, so Alex Albon has a fairly positive outlook ahead of his home race of the season. Especially since the team from Grove has prepared an upgraded version of the front wing for the British Grand Prix.

Alex Albon: "Let's see how it all turns out, as this is one of the first noticeable technical innovations of the season. It's relatively simple, just about the front wing, but the calculations made in the simulator give hope that the balance will improve.

I believe this is necessary and important, as we are noticeably lagging behind even the midfield teams – let's hope that thanks to this we can move up to higher positions.

The Silverstone track has always suited us well, although today there is a strong wind, which can significantly affect the car's balance. However, it almost always winds here, but today it was particularly strong. In any case, it won't be easy for us, as we have to solve a complex of problems: we need to find the optimal approach to energy usage, and we also need to achieve a good chassis balance.

Although it is still unclear to what extent we can influence it through setup work, and to what extent it is dictated by certain chassis features. This is the main difficulty we anticipate."
