If you had asked me last year before a session how confident I was that the car was in good shape and that I could set a great time, the level of that confidence would have been much higher because I understood the car and the tires much better than I do this year. We don't understand the new car as well yet, but the situation improves with each race.
So far, the car has shown exceptional stability in every race. But we are surprised by how many updates other teams are preparing. This might come back to haunt them by the end of the season.
