During the break between the stages in Austria and the UK, Lewis Hamilton took his brother Nicholas for a ride in a three-seater demonstration Formula 1 car from 2005 with a V10 engine, owned by Ferrari, around the Fiorano track.

Nicholas Hamilton: "Lewis called me, offered to take a ride – and I immediately headed to Fiorano. I couldn't believe it!

I was sitting right behind Lewis's right shoulder, experiencing completely surreal feelings. I was amazed by the sound and speed of this car, watching how Lewis drove, and I was proud that he is my brother.

After being part of his career for 34 years, after having been to every racetrack from karting to Formula 1 in my childhood, I finally got to feel for myself what all that hard work was for.

Lewis is my brother, but I am his biggest fan. His talent never ceases to impress me. I was driven around the track by the best driver of this generation. What an honor and what a privilege. I will never forget this day."
