Gabriel Bortoleto: The result is encouraging
Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto is satisfied with his twelfth place in the sprint qualifying at Silverstone, as he believes the result reflects the team's progress. His teammate Nico Hülkenberg qualified thirteenth and mentioned that the gusty winds hindered achieving more.
Gabriel Bortoleto (12th): "Good Friday. We were close to making it to the final, which is encouraging and confirms our progress. Of course, this was only the second session of the weekend, so there are areas where we can improve and get better.
Let's see what results we can achieve on Saturday in the sprint and in qualifying."
Nico Hülkenberg (13th): "A fairly clean qualifying, but I don't think we got the maximum out of it today. The wind was gustier than in practice, and it seems to have affected us more than our competitors.
Additionally, we followed a slightly different plan for working on the track, so we will analyze everything to understand where we can gain in Saturday's qualifying."
