      After the qualifying session for the sprint of the British Grand Prix, the stewards reviewed the violations committed by Arvid Lindblad and Alex Albon. The Racing Bulls and Williams drivers drove too slowly on the track during the segment between the second and first safety car lines in the first qualifying session, exceeding the maximum allowed time for covering that distance by 14.4 seconds in Lindblad's case and by 4.6 seconds in Albon's case. Since both drivers did this to accumulate more energy for a fast attempt and did not impede other cars, the stewards issued a warning to both.
