Palmer: It's too early to compare Kimi and George.

      Former driver and F1 TV commentator Jolyon Palmer believes it is too early to say that Kimi Antonelli is stronger than George Russell – there is not enough data to make such conclusions yet…

      Jolyon Palmer: “It’s clear that George is in a tough situation. But we cannot claim that it’s just because Kimi is simply the better driver. There isn’t enough data for that.

      Antonelli is young. Clearly, he is a prodigy. Mercedes has supported him since childhood. When you see drivers who progress so quickly, you immediately think of Max Verstappen and other drivers who burst onto the scene as true stars of their generation. Right now, it feels like that. But perhaps it’s a characteristic of this year’s cars?

      They need to be driven a bit differently than last year’s. Max doesn’t seem to feel as comfortable behind the wheel of this car. Charles doesn’t either. But Lewis is making it work. If it’s all about a different driving style, then George just needs to adapt. If these cars gradually evolve or change, everything might sort itself out.”
