In Belgium, they are also expecting a full house.
The stage in Silverstone was held with a full house, and almost no tickets are left for Spa. The promoter of the Belgian Grand Prix stated that no more than 4,000-5,000 tickets remain on sale, which will be sold out by the end of the week. Daily attendance is expected to reach the maximum capacity of the racetrack — 115,000 spectators.
Vanessa Maes, CEO of the Belgian Grand Prix: "In agreement with the authorities, we can accommodate 115,000 spectators. We are gradually increasing the maximum capacity to provide more comfort for the spectators.
There is no point in comparing us to Silverstone, where there was an airfield during World War II. There, the land is flat and open, covering thousands of hectares. In Spa, the racetrack is located between hills, and most of the surrounding areas are covered with forest. This is part of the charm of our national track."
