Lando Norris: "Yesterday the car allowed us to show the 3rd result, and that is encouraging. Of course, I would have liked to start 3rd, as I think that is a very good position because there is such a long run to the 1st corner on this track.
But due to the penalty, I will start the race 13th, and I have to accept that, but I will try to show determination. In any case, I have a fighting spirit, I plan to push forward, overtake opponents, and enjoy myself to the fullest.
I think we can still fight for a good result, although it's hard to say how many positions we can gain back. But we are optimistic, as I fell in love with racing on this track many years ago.
Few people know that my mom is from Belgium, so I consider this race a home one. I see many flags and banners in the stands dedicated to McLaren and me, many people in my signature t-shirts, and that gives a special vibe before the start of the Grand Prix."
