Fernando Alonso: The result meets expectations

      For the fifth weekend in a row, Aston Martin drivers occupied the last row of the starting grid – Lawrence Stroll probably didn't expect such a result when planning his investments…

      Fernando Alonso (21st): "Qualifying was tough for us, but the result is as expected. We are still doing everything we can, just like in the last ten Grands Prix. On Sunday, we will try to give our all – and continue to learn how to work with this car."

      Lance Stroll (22nd): "Before qualifying, we made some changes, the car behaved better, but we couldn't achieve optimal grip on the track, so we lost a few tenths.

      Otherwise, the pace was as expected. We know that we have no chance on this track. We just need to get through this stage – and focus on what awaits us in Budapest."
