Alex Albon (16th): "On Friday, the conditions on the track were challenging. We made progress between sessions, showing decent pace with a small amount of fuel, but considering the temperature and the state of the asphalt, it's hard to separate what is related to the setup from what is due to changing conditions. Aston Martin made a big step forward – they are the ones we need to try to overtake. Making it into the second part of qualifying could be a tough task. We will work hard overnight to achieve more tomorrow."
Carlos Sainz (17th): "As expected, Friday in Hungary was not easy. This track highlights the weaknesses of our car, which makes finding balance very difficult. But we are using this weekend to compare different setup options and understand how to achieve more on such tracks. The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to gathering information and trying to get more out of the car."
