Arvid Lindblad: Reality has exceeded all expectations

      After the Hungarian Grand Prix, Formula 1 will head into its summer break. Before the start of the race, Racing Bulls drivers Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson assessed the first half of the season.

      Arvid Lindblad: "We are heading to Hungary for the last race before the summer break, and now is the perfect time to evaluate the first half of the season, which has been simply incredible. Competing in Formula 1 has always been my dream, and the reality has exceeded all expectations.

      I have greatly enjoyed the first races in Formula 1, especially the opportunity to race on such legendary tracks as Shanghai, Suzuka, and Montreal. These have become my favorites among the new circuits for me.

      The team has played a huge role in helping me settle in quickly. Racing Bulls know how to work with rookies, and I felt that from day one. Additionally, the team has done an excellent job refining the car, which has allowed us to regularly fight for a spot in the qualifying finals and for points in the last races.

      I am looking forward to the race in Budapest. I have always liked the Hungaroring, as it is a true driver's track with many corners and few straights. Energy management will still play an important role here, but the characteristics of the track should make this factor less critical than at several previous races.

      After Hungary, it will be nice to take a break from racing during the summer break, although I really enjoy the momentum we have built up recently, and I am even somewhat ready to continue racing without a summer pause.

      The break will help recharge and return to the race in Zandvoort fully rested and motivated. This will be my first appearance at this track, and I am looking forward to it."

      Liam Lawson: "I am looking forward to the race at the Hungaroring. I have always liked this track with its technical corners and few straights, so it is perfect for the final race before the summer break.

      In the last few days, I have focused on analyzing the results from the Spa race and assessing the progress we have made in the first half of the season. The team has done a tremendous job developing the car, and this weekend I will receive all the latest technical updates for the first time, so we will try to get into the fight for points.

      After Hungary, it will be nice to take a short break from racing. The season has been very intense, so it will be great to go home, spend time with family and friends, and relax a bit.

      At the same time, the summer break is a good opportunity to continue training and approach the second half of the season in the best shape, as we still have many races ahead of us."
