Zak Brown: I'm sure the victory in Hungary won't be the last.
On Friday, the McLaren team's press service published a message from McLaren Racing's CEO Zak Brown to the fans, in which he expressed hope that Lando Norris's victory in Hungary would not be the last for the team this season.
Zak Brown: "Hello, McLaren fans! We are going on a summer break, and to be honest, I’m a bit sad that we have to take a pause right now, as we just achieved our first victory of the year.
The start of the season has been challenging, but all the McLaren staff have done a great job. Of course, this includes our two amazing drivers. We are winning again, and there are many more races ahead.
The competition is very tight. Mercedes has certainly dominated throughout the season. Ferrari is quickly gaining speed and is already winning. Red Bull is also among the leaders, just like McLaren. So, I think we are in for an amazing second half of the season.
Finally, we have achieved our first victory, and I am confident that it will not be the last this year. Lando and Oscar are doing a great job.
