Norris expresses that fame makes him feel 'violated.'

      Lando Norris has expressed that the attention that comes with Formula 1 stardom has started to make him feel "violated," particularly after being pursued by paparazzi in London for 40 minutes. The reigning world champion has conveyed a desire to spend more time outside his home rather than evade the spotlight.

      "I'm getting a bit older and want to be able to go out," the McLaren driver told The Independent. "This doesn’t mean going out to party; it just means having dinners and getting out of the house."

      "Last year, I would just play video games and feel like a loser at home. But now, I prefer to go out with friends for dinner until midnight instead of gaming all night."

      However, Norris feels that photographers have overstepped their boundaries. "The next level is when paparazzi wait for you in certain places or follow you around."

      "I drove to a friend's house in London and realized a paparazzi was tailing me the entire way. Following me through London for 40 minutes, just waiting to see who I would meet and where I was headed."

      "That was the first time I felt truly violated, realizing I can't leave my hotel or house without someone trying to document my every move."

      Norris returned from the summer break following his first victory of the season in Hungary, where McLaren’s significant upgrades led him to the top of the podium as the reigning world champion.

      "Given how great it felt today, I definitely want to believe we can keep this momentum going," he remarked. "There will be times when we face more challenges and moments that might be even better, but we know this track works well for us."

      "The team has put in a tremendous amount of effort to create a car that can win again."

      Although Norris has been more candid about enjoying dinners, friends, and life beyond Formula 1, he maintains that his summer-break plans are rather simple.

      "I just want to enjoy the break."

      When asked about his plans, he replied, "Just sleep, that’s all."
