Formula E and Disney have signed a partnership agreement.
Formula E, Disney+, and ESPN have signed a long-term partnership agreement, and starting from the next season, the Disney streaming service will broadcast all sessions of all stages of the electric car racing world championship. Viewers in 144 countries with access to a Disney+ subscription will be able to watch these broadcasts, significantly expanding the audience for Formula E, especially since interest in the championship in its 14th season will be high due to the transition to all-wheel-drive and powerful 4th generation (GEN4) cars. Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E: "This is a milestone moment in the history of Formula E, reflecting the incredible progress our championship has made. Disney, with its unprecedented global reach, will introduce Formula E to millions of new fans, and the dramatic and exciting events that occur during the electric series races will become even closer to the public, and they will feel it. We are entering the GEN4 era, which will create exceptionally favorable conditions for accelerating our global growth and further progress. We are also excited about the opportunity to explore what additional forms of collaboration between Formula E and Disney might look like, beyond just live race broadcasts."
